Drilling

We have the capability of drilling holes from 12mm to 1m using conventional diamond drills:

• We can drill holes from 12mm to 3.5m in diameter, to a depth of 30m in reinforced concrete; and
• For holes over 750mm in diameter we have specialised wire saws that can cut holes up to 3.5m in diameter.

Floor Sawing

We have saws from 16hp to 72hp, walk-behind, ride-on, or even 3-phase electric for confined space or where ventilation problems exist.

Wall Sawing

• We have a variety of machines capable of cutting to a depth of 700mm from one side.

Hand Sawing

• All our operators carry petrol powered hand saws that will cut to 150mm which are ideal for jobs such as cutting block walls or relatively thin concrete floors; and
• We also have hydraulic powered hand saws that will cut to a depth of 260mm, or where site conditions restrict the use of petrol units.

Wire Sawing

Combined Saw Cutting recommends wire sawing in the following circumstances:

• Where the concrete is thicker than 700mm;
• Where access is difficult and space is restricted; and
• Where there is a restriction on the acceptable noise levels, such as in hospitals.

Concrete Removal

Our team of experts have over 20 years of experience in removing large pieces of concrete, suspended floors or thick walls. From plinths to pits, we can help you with your concrete removal problems.

Safety and Training

All staff carry ‘green cards’ and undergo regular specialist training including:

• All drilling and sawing equipment;
• Working in confined spaces
• Rail Safety Inductions
• Demolition and Asbestos Removal; and
• First Aid.

Environmental Protection

Under the Environmental Protection Act, the slurry that we create cannot be disposed in sewers, storm water drains or natural waterways.

We have a range of strategies to ensure compliance, including:

• Wet vacuum cleaners; and
• Suction trucks or slurry carts.
